On Saturday, March 29, 2008, Earth Hour invites people around the world to turn off their lights for one hour – from 8:00pm to 9:00pm in their local time zone.
If this site is working correctly, you can find more info here: http://www.earthhour.org/
Otherwise between 8p-9p today sit in the dark Do nothing , how lazy can you get to help the environment.

Is Microsoft’s new campaign to get you to use their IM service. You download Windows Live Messenger, you choose a charity listed, and they will donate unspecified amount of money to that charity. The will not put a cap on the funds raised and each charity’s Microsoft Messenger page has a theme pack you can additionally download. The organizations Microsoft is helping are: American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club, Humane Society, National Aids Fund, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, NineMillon.org, Sierra Club, Stop Global Warming.org, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Unicef.
